Hey, you're not on MSN and i gotta get going, so here's some stuff...
-Try tuning your resonant heads first. Use the ambs. Keep them resonant-y buy low, like around 1-1.5 turns past finger tight.
-Try tuning your batter heads a 4th above their resos. Uhh, use the clear emps first. It'll probably be somewhere around 2-2.5 turns? If you're not sure what a 4th sounds like, it's the chord that opens "Wedding March" by Mendehlsson, such as

when listening to Corbus' toms, this is what I think I hear.

or sing here comes the bride. the first two notes is a forth. my drum teacher taught me that. :P i was having trouble tuning the timpani and he told me some real popular songs with different intervals. helped me a lot

I have a feeling "wedding march" and "here comes the bride" might be the same song. :lol: just a hunch.

5th. 6th is like the second phrase of "Christmas Song" by Vince Guaraldi. I couldn't think of anything better hah.

haha thats a cool idea.
My teacher has lots of names for different parts of rudiments.
