Talos
07-28-2007, 06:19 AM
No definitely not. Unless its fake or something.

Tillmon

Any snare for $70 is basically a good deal as long as it's not a stock snare drum.

Talos
07-28-2007, 06:39 AM
Well, it is a stock snare drum. But its a Pro M so its good.

Tillmon
07-28-2007, 06:45 AM
Oh... well I'm sure it's fine, it's not a steal but you definitely didn't get ripped off.

http://www.massmusic.net/shop/?shop=1&cart=6113007&cat=250&noCookiePassThrough=Y&

go to the bottom of the page and look through the pro-m individual drums, you were not ripped off at all.

...Unless it has a giant gash in it...

Is MAPEX spelled correctly?

Tillmon

Or perhaps you really are just getting the "snare" part of the snare drum? then you're definitely getting ripped off.

Hmmmmm..........if its an actual snare lol that's a really good price for a pro-m but only time will tell!

Wouldn't it be more sensible to ask "Will I get ripped off" than "Have I been ripped off"?

Matter

...as long as it doesn't read "Bloke Punthar Mapax snare"

i like how i post a link directly to a page that has the prices of new mapex drums, and yet its more helpful for someone to say youre in the clear, than for me to post the prices of their drums.

Talos
07-30-2007, 05:46 PM
Well I dont really like Mapex, theres far too much hype around them and their drums, thing is, theyre not that great.
But, for the money theyre pretty good. If money wasnt an option, I dont think many people would choose Mapex over the other choices available.

You've clearly never heard an Orion.

Talos
07-30-2007, 05:53 PM
I have, but id prefer a Starclassic or Masters tbh

Drum Phil
07-30-2007, 05:53 PM
HAHAHAHAHA.

You might as well get a pillow and play drums on that if you want a starclassic.

Onion is the only good thing Mapex does.

Except maybe the Janus for some (but not that sh!tty ergo thing).
