Thanks for all of the great comments guys. I just turned 19 a few days ago. My car is still pretty fast for what it is and for my age i couldnt ask for a better car really.

There's nothing wrong with a V6...

As James may would say:

"All it asks is that you put your foot down a little bit more!"

But then again, it is a mustang, so you'd end up in a cloud of tyre smoke.

Nice kit as well.

And that's fun. Although they also have a reputation of killing people around corners. A friend of mine took one just...a little too fast around a corner, and ended up doing a complete four wheel drift, kinda sad really. They handle horrendously apparently.

Yuh.

They've basically got an RSJ for a back axle and suspension.

But most American muscle cars handle appallingly, so yeah...

You have to have a tactic to driving. Really fast down the straight, brake hard, slowly round the corner, and then put the pedal down when you hit the next straight.

The Mites
07-30-2007, 11:24 AM
Yeah... because of course driving is just about going really fast.

Ah. didnt think of that

Spend £100k + on a Lamboghini Murcielargo and just use it to look good.

Yup. More money than sense.

Thing is, I spent £1400 ish on an escort van and look cool as

maniac0796
07-30-2007, 01:10 PM
Damn right.

Man, i want an escort van. That would be banging.

Or a bedford Rascal.

To look good DUH

Yes, actually. It's about looking good.

Ever heard of fashion?

If I go to Monte Carlo, and buy a pair of designer shoes for £5,000, will they make me walk faster or with more comfort than a pair of DC skate shoes I can get here in Newcastle for £50?

No, not really..

Mind you, i suppose it separates the rich from the peasants

One of my neighbours dresses the same way as me. He also drives a pretty average Range Rover...

Except when he goes to work, he wears his fancy suit and drives his Aston Martin DB9.

Surprisingly enough mine handles pretty well in the turns. You just have to know the car and what it can and cant do and at what speeds it can do things.
