well... I don't dislike it. but it kind of... just builds up. I would imagine it'd been better off crescendoing to a big massive epic thing. imho it doesn't really go anywhere, and furthermore it doesn't climax anywhere.

but as I listen to the rest of your songs I discover this to be your style. and the more I listen to these songs, the more I appreciate what you're doing. it's definitely special and original.
even though the guitars may seem a bit static, they're pretty intense. even though the vocals may seem a bit uninspired, they do a fine job of creating that special atmosphere you've got going.

overall this is really special, and rather good. just a tad hard to get into at first. but as I'm playing "As Dirt Covers My Eyes" for the third times, I'm thinking - this is the ****.
so good job. keep it up.

thank you very much. i appreciate the honest feedback. these are all just little tidbits. the way i like to work is just create a portion of a song at a time, and then the rest of the band gets together and we work around things.

Floor 6 is also a pre-track to another track.

thanks again :)

The guitar is too loud. It drowns out the vocal. I don't like the sudden stops when it breaks into silence either.

I'd agree with what the other guy said, there's potential there to do something nice but it doesn't really go anywhere. It's quite flat (although not totally so).

I'm not trying to be negative, I actually quite liked it but I just think it could do more.

It has the mega-spiritual ascension feel. Repetitive is good when it is layered like the way you're doing it. Different sparks of creation flowing into each repetition.
