I just got through watching both seasons online, and I love it. Great characters, funny and sentimental, and the best story involving the afterlife I've seen. The family did get on my nerves at times with how doggedly stubborn they were, but, overall, just a phenomenal show.

Opinions from anyone else?

For those who don't know, it's about an eighteen year old girl who dies and finds herself chosen as a grim reaper, taking others' souls, because she filled the last reaper's quota. She's in a division of reapers dealing with those who die of accidents and such maladies, in a worldwide network of reapers running much like a bureaucracy.

I bought season 2 the other day, since you never ever see the DVDs here in the UK. Great show, died before it's time really. Very fun in a dry kinda way. It also had a pretty funny plot too.

I only ever seen most of the first season, but I really enjoyed it.
The toilet thing was hilarious.

Yeah, I think I should probably download both seasons and re-watch it, I've ran out of series' to watch over summer.

They just started production on a straight-to-DVD movie for it. Only, there's no Rube and they're recasting Daisy.

It'll be hard to enjoy without Rube, and the story sounds underwhelming so far.

yeah it was a really good show that didn't get enough hype because of HBO.

I've watched the first handful of episodes and I'm really enjoying it. It's ridiculously easy to get into, with plenty of endearing characters and a lot of obscenely existential humor.

The first series is one of my favourite DVD things. It's an excellent show. Series 2 was just released on DVD here recently, so I'll be picking it up when I have the money to spare.

Mandy Patinkin's great, probably one of my favourite actors if I thought about it. He seems like a stubborn bastard though, which is probably at least partly why he won't be in the film; he has a habit of running from things if they go on too long or get too successful.

The story with his daughter was the most emotional thing in a TV series I've ever seen.

lol i love the show. i used to think the girl was kinda fugly , but then i guess i lowered my standards or something because she's kinda hot. the other reaper chick though is pretty foxay

She's nowhere near fugly. She's hot. She's very much in shape and has pouty lips as is mentioned in one episode.

I don't care for Daisy or the woman who was before her.

I think she's really pretty, and becomes more attractive after she dies and stops skulking around so much. But my one problem with her is that her legs are deathly thin. Turn off for me.

I just kept thinking every time she bared her midriff, "she sure has a tight stomach for someone so mopey." Didn't really pay attention to her legs.
