Looks sweet man. The pickguard looks pretty rad. I'm in the means of getting a SR5 for myself.

I'd post my rig, but it was stolen from me.

The two amps are my Peavey Basic 60 on the bottom and my Kustom KBA10, and the pedal is a Zoom 606 Multi Effects. Guitars from left to right, Takamine EG320C, Epiphone Les Paul Special II, Spector Legend 5, and my recently de-fretted Washburn Oscar Schmidt OB40.

I'm more of a fan of single coil pickups on guitars, thats just from playing my friends guitars though, so its not really an accurate cross section (though the guitar with all single coils is the cheapest of them).

iplayanesp

though the guitar with all single coils is the cheapest of them

thats not nessicarily true. they just sound diffrent. single coils are more twangy type sounding and dont handle distortion as well as humbuckers and tend to hum.

humbuckers a wound in diffrent directions or summat to eliminate hum and tend to be heavier sounding.

Nice! I don't see very many white ice pickguards, but that one looks pretty good. How does she sound?

DonBass

amazing. i cant get over how much better it sounds than my old bass which is an OLP MM2.

Huh? I said I liked the sound of the guitar with single coils best, even though it is the cheapest.

Godin A4, Eden CXC210, Fender Precision Special (The Vantage in the back hardly counts ha)

P.S. Pinhead that precision with the humbucker looks awesome. I'm hoping to do that to mine eventually, or trade it in for a Jazz.

Stingrays are awesome also, but the necks are a bit too fat for my taste.

Maybe it's because I learned to play on a Stingray knockoff, but 'Ray necks have never felt big to me. No where near a P-bass neck.

blacklungfever
07-18-2007, 10:07 PM
you also play a 7 string bass haha.

The bass I learned on is the Vantage leaning against the amp in the back, and its got a pretty thin neck, just a tiny bit bigger than a jazz bass. My Presicion also has a jazz neck, so I guess I'm just used to thinner necks.

Ive always hated anything bigger than 5, but lately Ive been thinking having a 6 would be fun, cause I could do so much different stuff than with just 4.

Wow sabalte, I didn't know you had that much gear.

Haha. I know. I have a lot. I'm thinking about getting rid of the two combo bass amps, the small 60W guitar amp, and the MIM jazz, but I always seem to find use for them, so I end up changing my mind.

I need to update my family pic or take pics of all my gear separately.
