I just plugged my acoustic electric guitar into my mixer, then plugged my headphones into the mixer and put them on. When I turned up the volume to the normal level, I noticed this loud low hum coming through my headphones. When I would touch the cable or any metal part of the mixer, the humming stopped. Also, the humming stops if I unplug the guitar. It sounds like a grounding problem. Am I right? And if so, what do I do?
