So good. I was listening to Black Thunder last night, and it has definitely become one of my top 10 albums. So heavy and gritty but so much groove.

me and my buddy were blastin doomriders at the concession stand at midnight opening of harry potter. i bet some little kids were pissed during the movie. any cool kids would've ditched that s'hitty film and rocked out with us

I got it. The packaging is sick. Doomriders set was alright but it was a little sloppy and fast but hey, it's punk rock right? The Boris songs sound real good. It's a cool record to have.

But yeah, that's such an awesome combo for a split. A lot of the Boris stoner stuff, especially "Electric," could pass for Doomriders stuff.

Band is so good, gritty and raw. I would like to see them live a lot.

Check Zozobra and Old Man Gloom if you like Doomriders. They also have members of Converge I'm pretty sure, and they're all pretty similar.

I was just thinking, Doomriders recorded at godcity. And so has 108, Rise and Fall (pretty sure), Blacklisted I think as well.

Breather Resist, American Nightmare, Genghis Tron, every band under the sun has recorded at Godcity :p

Oh but he plays guitar for Doomriders. ****, I guess you're right. Wait, so does Nate do the main backing vocals or does Kurt just have like the same exact vocal style as him? Like on the end of You Fail Me, is that Kurt with that really low vocal roar thing? Cause that sounds exactly like the Doomriders vocals.

I'm pretty sure Kurt does some of the singing on the Broken Vow, but most of the lower screams are done by Nate.

You too, man. I see you're a moderator now. I'm living in a new house, new city, so as soon as we get internet I'll probably haunt this place a little more regularly. As of now, I'm chillin' in the library and just thought I'd swing by.

And yeah, a couple tracks on Black Thunder are amazingly badass, but some of them were real stinkers, and overall it just bored me. Maybe I didn't give it a chance.
