What happened to these guys. They're so good but haven't been active at all since like late 2005.

yeah dfelon can you do a listening party for these guys I meant to ask you online
I found a link for "A Miracle" a couple days ago, but now it's just disappeared. This is making me angry.
Oh well, this band rules. Lions Write History is definitely in my top 10. Learning To Accept Silence is a little weaker but "Your Switch To The Sun" and "A Fitting Lie" are two of my favorite tracks by the band.
They're fantastic live too. Lions Write History is just so engaging, it's like Circa Survive if they didn't suck.

I don't like LWH as much as Silence.

Learning to Accept Silence great power and some perfect melodic moments (like when the drums pick up on "Walk This Fine Line" at 0:38 and that awesome time switch at 2:50 on "A Fitting Lie") but overall I think Lions Write History is more understated and beautiful. The songs don't crush and aren't overtly melodic at any given moment like their earlier stuff was, but overall the music is just great. It's like if Further Seems Forever grew balls or something. Let me refine that simile a bit but I think you all know what I mean.
Actually crap the more I relisten to Learning to Accept Silence the more I'm freaking out about it. The vocal performance is so good.

I don't really like Learning. There's a couple good parts but it just seems like a different band. I'm so into the melodic stuff on LWH so when I listen to like the mad dissonant breakdown chug chug stuff on Learning, it just doesn't appeal.
But like I mentioned, "Your Switch To The Sun" is incredible.

Band is good but yeah they haven't done anything since 2005 and I haven't dug anything up about them not playing or w/e or possible recordings.

Man I still can't even make that correlation in my head. They really are in Ambitions? Jeez.
Also but what are all the interrelated bands? In Pieces, Hamartia, With Honor, Life in Your Way, Ambitions, probably more too I guess

I finally listened to Life In Your Way yesterday. They suck really bad.
The bassist of In Pieces started some drone project I think too.

Oh I like Life in Your Way. They make me think of a super melodic version of Shai Hulud in some ways.
