MST3K Fans Rejoice!

Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett (Crow) and Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) have gotten back together to do another project thats almost the same as MST3K. They go out and find old movies and basically make fun of them like they did last time, only this time they do it as themselves and there's no story of them being stuck in space and being robots. They're jsut adding their commentary to the film.

They're releasing full length crappy B-films with their commentary on DVD's. The website lets you watch short little snippets of the first few films they've done and then you can vote on which one gets released first. I'm actually really looking forward to picking up some of these films.

Yeah Joel had a different sense of humor from Mike and I just didn't really find it nearly as amusing. Also the breaks on the satellite of love were always funnier with Mike and Pearl than with Joel and the doctor guy.

i liked mike with the doctor guy the best (mad scientist dude). I didn't really care for the fat lady.

hopefully, they'll cut out the bullsh!t in between movie sections, and just go right to them talking sh!t

I heard Kevin Murphy being interviewed on the radio today and from that and this website there's not going to be any skits or anything like on MST3K. You're just gonna watch the whole movie and they're going to be adding their commentary throughout the whole thing.

Their plan is to find movies that otherwise would never be put on DVD and bring them back to life with their added nonsense.

It's one movie per DVD, but I can't imagine them being that expensive.
