This thread is to discuss Madden (the video game obviously). I personally love the game. I've been collecting them for as long as I remember. So discuss the different modes, how your season is doing etc.

I love Madden games, but they really need to bring back Fantasy Drafts.

I wish the Superstar mode would allow the player to choose a different camera angle.

Those are my only complaints, everything else about it is great. I started a season with the Redskins on 07. Clinton Portis is a beast in that game.

I have Madden '06 on the PS2, I really loved it.

In my first year of Uni I got so good at it, it was like the typical stoner teenager you see in the movies that is utterly fantastic at a certain game. I just got so good at it for some reason; I could beat my housemate who was pretty damn good at it too like 140something nil.

I have both Madden 05 and ESPN 2k5 and imo the latter was superior.

yeah I borrowed (¬_¬) 03 from a friend and I still have it and it's good.

Yup. Better graphics, better presentation, better features, pretty much better everything.

It was so much better that EA knew it and bought the rights to NFL teams and players. Then EA released a series of sub-par Madden games. But you all know this already. :p

I've got Madden 06 for the PS2. It's pretty cool. I got bored with it after awhile though.

i think its ridiculous how they come out with a new football game very year. wouldn't they make more money if they did like every 2 years? i mean you really only need 1 good football and/or 1 good basketball game. there is no point in having more than one unless they are made buy different companies

More of a college footballer myself = | but I do enjoy the Madden once in a while, and it definately seems to be the more popular game. I like making a sick RB for the Raiders and seeing how far I can carry (literally lol!) them.

Also, someone can not have an awesome year so his attributes wouldn't be good and then the next year he has a career defining season, but he will still not be as good as he is on the older one. See what I'm saying?

there was some way to get updated rosters on 2k5, I don't remember how.

Madden is one of the top sellers every year, they'd be incredibly stupid to not put a new game out each year.
