I would say so. Even if you're not into those bands much (but you will want to hear them if you haven't when you're done with it) its a great history lesson on 80's underground rock.

Every band I saw in it I liked. Minutemen, Black Flag, Hüsker Dü, Minor Threat, Fugazi. I'll have to go back and get it. My friend's dad let me borrow Get In The Van, so I'm going to kill that first.

Ween aren't really freaks, just funny guys who did drugs and made music. Butthole Surfers are the imbodiment of crazy assholes. They were insanely wrecklessand way out of their mind.

That being said, they're two of my favorite bands ever.....so this is hard. If it were for being the most insane, it'd be Butthole Surfers, if it were music quality it'll be Ween, mainly for the fact they've remained consistently awesome for over twenty years.

oh hey this is a ween thread too.

GodWeenSatan is so raw and hilarious and kickass.
Chocolate and Cheese is so less raw and hilarious and kickass.

for some reason i have all of Ween's studio lps and those are the only two i can come to a conclusion with. i don't dislike any of them and whenever i put any Ween album on i always enjoy it. those two always stand out to me though.

Im gonna go with Ween, cause their music doesn't give me a head ache. I would concider them one of the most innovative bands Ive ever heard. No other band has such a broad range of music covered. Plus Im a huge fanboy lol.
