My friends dad has a DVD collection of around 700 completely legit DVD's, a ridiculous amount. Unfortunately there's nothing rare or interesting in it, they are all mainstream popular movies i don't find interesting enough to borrow and copy off of them. :mad: :thumb:

My own collection of DVD's is tiny, i have about 20 movies all up, 4 dvd's of tv shows, some anime and some music video/concent DVD's. I couldn't be stuffed writing them all out, most people have a gauge of my tastes on here from the movie thread i imagine.

actually I have the box set I borrowed from a friend (it seems like a permanent borrow since I've had them about two years now) I asked for my own copies anyway and I got the first two with the second theatrical version DVD, but didn't get Return of the Jedi for some odd reason.

The Shining remake is a "mini series" that stays true to the book more so than the movie did. It's pretty long, but I really like it. I occasionally find myself preferring the "mini-series" to the original, since it goes into more depth.

It's a lousy piece of trash, just like most King adaptations that King himself is involved in. I mean, that guy is my favorite writer and all, but damn he needs to stay away from movies.
