Some forums are doing better than others right now, but honestly, traffic has slowed down these days for most forums, or at least from what the their traffic use to be like. As Jeremy tells us, we’re basically surviving on word of mouth and old members. Sure, there is the Sputnik review site, but I doubt that generate many members. Maybe. We’re also hoping that the company that bought Mxtabs will link these forums to their new site, which opening soon. (http://www.mxtabs.net) Whether they decide to link or not is still up in the air though. As far I know.

All of the new "punk" bands fall under Hardcore/Emo most of the time so that where the discussion goes. All of the old users here don't like the old punk bands anymore or are sick of talking about them (rightfully so) and we don't get any new users who want to because of mxtabs being down. The only solution is more traffic from the new site.

The punk forums will die when I officially leave. Seriously now, street punk isn't "gay as f'uck." I still like some old Virus and Casualties stuff. It's just there isn't much depth to that kind of music, and not much to talk about. In the past, we've practically covered all there is to cover with street punk.

The casualties were playing in Virginia Beach when I was on my senior trip there. I walked by the club, but didn't go see them.
