View Full Version : Looking for second
Well I started my job recently and by the end of the summer I'm hoping to get my second drum set. Right now I have the basic PDP EZ. I've been looking around, but I'm not exactly sure what to get yet. I play some punk, but the band I'm starting with this girl is probably going to be more of a soft rock band. So basically I need something pretty balanced, preferably something that does not make it difficult to set up the toms like my current one does. My price range is at most $750. So if you guys see anything keep an eye out for me. I'm going to go do some searching.

Yamaha Stage Custom, Sonor 3007/2007, Pearl Vision (Brand New), PDP X7, Gretsch Catilina Birch/Maple/Ash. I think all of these are around your range.

"Hybrid hardwood shells"
That's how they describe the wood, so i'm a little iffy about it.

Second hand pro
I thought about the gretsch ash or maple. I want the 8" tom on the ash, but I'm not sure how to feel about a 6" snare.
