Quick question since Im leaving for the drum shop...

Dw Copper snare which is awesome

or wait 3 weeks for a Tama Starclassic Copper snare to come in

Im asking this because I tryed the DW and loved it. But Ive been looking at the tama one for awile and he just orderd one. But the DW wont last long (owner told me a few people are asking about it).

Honestly, it's a gamble. You waste money now, finding out you like the other one more. Or, you win now, finding out the Tama wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Tama's individual snares aren't bad. The ones that come with their kits are very meh-ish, but their metal snares are quite nice.

nah i want to but my local shop's yammie selection is very small, allthough they got a birch absolute which would pwn my bank account if I play it again.
Basically Tama and sonor is what my local shop has a huge selection of.
