My father Ben said I need Jesus
So he took me to church and let the water wash over my ceaser
Diamonds are forever (forever, forever)
The preacher said we need leaders
Right then my body got still like a paraplegic

You know who you can call you gotta best believe it
The Roc stand tall and you would never believe it
Take your diamonds and throw 'em up like you bulimic
Yea the beat cold but the flow is anemic

I work in a grocery store dairy department.

I got to work at 1:00(3 hours early) and wrapped up my department at 2:30 by putting out around three pallets of stock. About 300 boxes or so.

The produce guy was sick so I went over to produce and put out atleast two cases of basically every kind of fruit you can imagine. I also had to shuck the onions, trim the romaine, all the fun, fun stuff. Finished that up around 4.

The manager didn't have anybody to work backstock so I ended up putting out around 100 cases of papertowls and 50 or so cases of cereal. Finished this up for 5:30.

We were a cashier short so I worked a cash register until 6 averaging 45 customers an hour and 20 items scanned per minute for an hour and a half.

I spent an hour closing up the seafood department because the seafood guy got sick at work and let. I had to put all the fish away, break up all the ice in the display case and replace it, and then feed the lopsters.

A late grocery truck got here after the stock crew left so I spent the last hour and a half(I had already worked 3 hours over my scheduled time) putting out two more pallets of grocery stock. Dog food, canned goods, etc.

I make 6.30 an hour, and Im at the bottom of the food chain. An undignified bitch on strings.

Go listen to bucketheads cd "colma" and tell me he can only shred. In case you haven't ever heard, buckethead has scored countless movies, been on countless albums as a studio guitarist, has put out more than a cd a year for the last 15+ years, and was called the best up and coming guitar player by shawn lane before he died. Slow fretting hand, fast picking hand. I could easily play 16th notes at 180bpm if I didn't have to fret different notes or if I did four picks per note or something like that.

$25? I bought them for $30 on musicians friend when I was almost certain I was going to buy worrpig's Brice. That fell through, and now I'm staring at a random pack of strings. I like groundwounds, but the set I bought for my Aerodyne was way too heavy. These are light gauge, methinks.

I had an odd dream... I don't remember it entirely, but it was pretty strange.

Although I was the main character in it, it wasn't actually me. It didn't look like me, etc.

The dream seemed to go on for quite a while, as in, weeks. Maybe longer. There was a lot of stuff I won't get in to that happened in it. Stuff like my relationships with people being hurt and ended, people looking at me very differently from the start to the end of the dream. There was a lot that happened and I can't perfectly remember it all.

I can't remember what started it all, except that I got put in a situation one night where my life was on the line. I was nearly killed that night, which forced me to fend for my own life and kill someone. I don't know how or why, but this kill changed me in a very strange way. It altered me in a way that I could not change back.
Anyway, time passes and I'm find myself in more positions where I need to kill to save my life.
One night I'm in a big apartment building when a fire breaks out. Suddenly there's a riot in the building and everyone is being extremely violent. So what do I do? I'm fighting for my life, I go on a killing spree. I kill anyone to get out. Men, women, children, it doesn't matter. I don't know how I haven't been arrested or anything yet, I've killed a lot of people over the last few weeks.
So I make it to a safe area where there are firemen, cops, that sort of thing. There were also some people I knew. I'm covered in blood because of all the killing. I tell them, while nearly in tears, that I had to kill some people, a lot of people, to escape. They sort of shrug it off and ask me, "Do you know how many people you've killed."
"I don't know... 200 or something.. a lot." The people I know (they were people I'm close with in the dream) are hearing this, already messed up from escaping the fire and riot, they're sobbing and looking at me strangely... like they know.
The cop (or someone) says to me, "You don't remember? No memory of your life lately?... You're crazy as a loon. You've killed over 2000 people." Now all my friends and everyone is looking at me and I know why. I had no idea I had killed so many people. I look at everyone completely flustered and not knowing what to say, I just break into tears. They then inform me it's my turn. I know what this means.
I woke up before they could take me out back and shoot me.

I was at work and a customer came through my line and bought a single Pinapple. I nearly died laughing.

£170? Where from?

Mine should be around £150 in the States, which means I should be able to get it back without customs taking a piece. (no other souveniers mind, that's my personal allowance took up completely)

But that's great, great bass, great souvenier.

My mate works for a reputable music shop and gets everything at trade price :D

I've gotten to a point where I realized I'm never going to be satified with my instruments. I mean, the ones I have I love dearly but I have this keen appreciation for the different feel, look, and sound of different basses(and other instrments) and I'll probably never stop collecting.

That said, I'm diverting most of my money to my rigs now. I have no guitar rig and only half a bass rig.

EDIT: I was looking at a Hugghes and Ketner guitar amp the other day.

I need my own bass rig.
I've been borrowing/loaning for ages now.

I still have to borrow an amp for smaller gigs. I have my 5w practice amp or my 750w tube half stack =/

I want to replace my cabinet, and then concentrate on a guitar rig before I get my twins.

Wow.

Premonition sucked. That movie made no sense what so ever.

Coop: cool, I actually ended up putting the money in my dads account so I wouldnt have to go through the trouble of setting up and confirming the new paypal account. My last $100 dollar deposit hasnt cleared but Im hoping he has the extra $100 in there that I can borrow so I can go ahead and pay you tonight and get things rolling.

I've got Aerodyne brnging me a set of groundwounds to work to string er up with.

The strings on her aint so bad. I replaced them In october. :p

So it's probably a good idea to get some new strings when these ones just die.

Yea I have. For a couple good reasons too. But posting a picture of a pineapple, which has been done countless times before without penalty. To jsut get banned out of no where like that, yet I can see that Gav, who posted a picture before me, is still not banned.

I swear. You guys complain about the state of the forums, yet you still have a clear favourtism towards certain users.

The reason he isn't banned yet is because he wants to be sodomized, and the mods actually enjoy that. :amaze:

I remember me and Gav got into it really bad one time when I got banned and hes convinced I still hold a grudge.

Getting banned just hurts my wittle feelings. :(
