Most of you I suspect have heard ANThology, I was wondering whether anyone would be able to give a good guessto what strings would be good to get Tye's tone on the album.

I havent heard the album, but im going to say that your not going to get his tone just by changing your strings.

Any strings that aren't new, and boost the low mids on your amp I reckon.

I'm pretty sure he uses DR strings, saw it an ad awhile ago.

Hes no longer in AAF he's going to Berklee for Film Scoring I believe.

I am thinking that the tone is more a result of the custom Fender than the DRs.

He was th bassist for Alien Ant Farm, his stuff for them is pretty run of the mill, but goos sounding stuff. Try Courage or Attitude from thier first album I reckon or check out his new bands MySpace...

The bassist from Alien Ant Farm. Most of the tracks from ANThology have a decent bassline.
