I've been looking at buying a Schecter Custom 6 for a while now, and I recently had a chance to play one at a friend of mine's house, and I fell deeply in love with it. But what I'm worried about, is there is only one music store near here that is a Schecter dealer, which is a guitar center a couple miles away. So I went there and they don't have any in stock, but they will place an order for it if I'm gonna buy it.
But what I'm worried about is that the MSRP on Schecter's website for a Studio 6 is $999, and the MSRP for a Custom 6 is $769. Guitar Center carries the Studio 6, and sells it a lot cheaper than that (I think 700 even).
So my question: if I have them directly order me a Custom 6 is it going to cost me $769 or will it be at a big discount like the Studio 6 is?
