My band Stelfox has recorded a couple songs in the studio. We've put one onto our myspace. The song is called Mystery. This is the work we did at the studio before my basses were stolen.

So comments plz. kthx.

it's got a great hook - that's great. I like the bass 'solo', and somewhat dig the Kiss/Black Sabbath tribute that the song ends on.

pretty standard rock music. mixing sounds pretty good. i like the pre-chorus (?) chugga chugga part. good stuff.

I didn't really like the bass tone or the singers voice but it came together well. Also I'm sure I've heard that guitar intro before somewhere.

Uhh, damn straight.

Thanks guys for the comments. The overall track was mixed in the studio on their speakers. For some reason the entire track came out with more low end than expected. Bleh, doesn't matter, the studio time was free any how. :p

Yea Dylan I know. I've already explained it here. My drummer has some mixing equipment at his house. Were going to re-mix, and finish off the songs from our time at the studio.

jesus it's a good thing you didn't pay. is it an amateur studio or something?

Amateur students. Their project was to take in a local band and record some songs.

So we got free studio time. But a lousy mix.

take out some low end, slightly higher vocals, change tone of the rythem guitar (solo is fine), and it will be rocken.
also, the 2nd guitar part in the 2nd verse will fade in a bit, and not be so abrupt.
