Ska seperation

I never understood why there wasn't a seperate section like punk, metal, rap and pop?

Maybe it's a dumb question but somebody explain this.

I realize that ska is heavily associated with punk but I think there should be a seperate section for ska.

ska isn't as expansive or popular as those genres, it just doesn't merit its own section. reggaeton on the other hand.

The database for ska isn't really large enough for it to have its own seperated heading, and most of the bands that are in the sputnik database are the ones most closely associated with the punk.
