Hey

havn't posted here in about a year.. been at uni doing a course in music. But I have a song that one of my flatmates wrote, and got me to play drums for him, for the same course. Its a wicked song, and the other stuff he has written is just as good. Its got a sort of incubus-y tinge, with some nice harmonies at the end. Would be good to hear what you think of the drum part.

Also I recorded the drums myself so any comments on the sound of them would be cool. (however i didn't mix the tracks as its not my coursework).

Sorry dude, somehow missed this!

The drumming on the first track is hella solid. I likes alot. Is damn good stuff. I'm not too fond on the tone of the singers voice however. He aint half bad at singing, just I don't really like it, if that makes any sense?

The second song is pretty amaze too. I like your playing style alot. Played with such awesome feel and conviction! I think the fact that its quite nice quality helps too...if it was crap computer mic quality I probably wouldn't be so impressed. Who's singing on the second one btw?

Quite the talented musician, how long you been playing for?

Sounded really good man! I only listened to the first one, but the mix was pretty good. I like the song a lot, although don't care for the singer. Your drumming was quite tasteful too.
