I recorded some drums (and a pic)

I had my drumset upstairs near my computer to record a couple songs for my band, so I decided to record a 1 take drum solo. Its pretty sloppy, but whatever its always fun to hear what you play. I stopped in the middle for a second because my bass drum/toms were sliding back cuz my sets on a wood floor (great idea) so i had to pull it back quickly, adn then i dropped my drumstick in another part haha.

Specs:
CB Drums, normal 12,13,16" toms with 14" snare and 22" bass.
AAX Stage 14" hats, 16" crash, 20" ride. 10" and 16" "home-made" china and china splash.
Iron Cobra Jr. double bass pedal.
CAD KBM412 bass mic and 2 Joe Meek JM27 overhead mics.

Thats quite cool! Not a half bad sound you've managed to get outta that kit!

The solo wasn't bad. You had some nice ideas. Quite busy on the snare though. Give it a little more space then try really separating the ghost notes and the accents. Make the ghosties alot quieter and give the accents a little more conviction. Work on executing a little cleaner, with more conviction and in time and it'll all come together really nicely.

yea, i was just having fun really, not necesarily trying to make it sound good. just extremely loose improv lol.

yea, i dont really have abig enough rug i could use for my kit, and i originally only planned to have my set up there for like 4 hours, but its been there a couiple days now cuz im lazy, and its a lot easier to play along with music on my computer, cuz i always seem to break cd players somehow.
