Phew, lucky I already got mine. They only pop up on UK Ebay once in a blue moon, so I jumped at the next chance I had.

you know, though, looking at one pic in that auction.... it looks to me like the "feet" of the stand are removable.
meaning... I could clip it to a rack.

Used stuff rocks. Not only do you help somebody sell it, but you get a good deal on it yourself.
Win - win.

Cymbals I thought would sound great (and thought DID sound great on Sabian's sound check on the like) sounded kinda bollocks to me when I actually played them.
Other stuff... you need to try it out. Then new you get warranties and awesomeness like that, plus the knowledge you're the only one to ever play that.

Sorta, its a KD7 electric pad. Triggering a bass effect or some other random percussion

I bought my DW remote hats new... then again, so far all my gear has been bought new, asides from the IC pedal which was a floor model. I'm just picky like that... I dunno. I'd like to pick up a nice used sonor kit sometime this summer for shows though. :D
