Me and my friend thats a girl are going on the sayreville, NJ show. It is an outside show, it should be pretty sick, im pretty much just going for Gwar and Lamb Of God, and some of The Devil Wears Prada. It will definitly be one of the biggest tours this summer. So, who else on here is going?

Sound is always really sloppy outside, the acoustics aren't that good.

Kage

True.

Jono9119X
06-04-2007, 07:32 PM
yeah well im pretty much going for gwar, and if you know this band, they will shoot out 3 times as much blood compared to inside =]

I might go.

Shattered_Future
06-04-2007, 08:02 PM
Yeah, I might too. But probably not.

28 bucks for just Gwar and Amon Amarth is kinda pushing it...

AA-12

I just wanna see JFAC to be honest.

i thought you were cool wotan :(

I'd rather just wait for Gwar and Amon Amarth to tour the by themselves

pate

I would only go to the Testament date, but it's far away.

Gwar is the best band of the regular lineup.

:thumb: yeah well its 30 bucks, but it would be sweet just to hang there all day, then at the end, get completely splattered by fake blood and all that ****.

I would love to go, but they don't have dates near me and driving to Philly isn't realistic for me right now.

There are two good bands.

Dimmu Burger
06-06-2007, 12:28 PM
who might they be?

Stevie
06-06-2007, 12:29 PM
As I say every time, not very "underground".

Who would be you YOUR sounds of the underground tour?

GWAR and Suicidal Tendencies.

Stevie

Who would be you YOUR sounds of the underground tour?

I'm not going to get into that. Some of those bands get airtime on MTV.

Berner

Our band might be opening for some of the bands doing off date shows. That should be fun.

encmetalhead
06-06-2007, 01:05 PM
Gwar (just for the show, not the music)
Chimaira
Darkest Hour
Amon Amarth

Special Guests on Select Dates:
Hatebreed
Mushroomhead
Behemoth (not too big ont hem but yeah)
All That Remains

not really worth traveling across state or to South Carolina to see it

pate

Well, I think getting airtime on MTV2, assuming you mean headbanger's ball, doesn't really make a band not underground. I mean, they do play that Suffocation video a lot and they certainly are pretty underground IMO. Not to argue, but not much of anything is completely underground in today's world. :thumb:

Kage

Sure, plenty is underground.

Well The History Channel showed Suffocation, so they are so mainstream.

Stevie

I don't equate underground with lack of popularity. There are many bands that are very much underground yet are still popular amongst the scensters (bad word I know).

Dang, I forgot about that...ummm...what about Amon Amarth?

God, I hope i can go to this.

whao when did that happen?

pate
06-07-2007, 08:33 PM
They used Suffocation in a commercial.

Wow, I still have the link.

I'm fairly certain Sounds Of The Underground is supposed to reference Hell, anyway, rather than whether a band is popular on the scene or not.

Shred Danson
06-07-2007, 08:56 PM
Well if so, THAT makes sense.

Anglachel
06-07-2007, 08:57 PM
Hmmmmmmmmm

I'm not going ^_^

pate
06-07-2007, 08:58 PM
That does make sense, but you'd think they could have advertised it that way.

Shred Danson
06-07-2007, 08:59 PM
Why would they do that?

Saying underground as in underground in the musical sense is SOOOO much more appealing to scenesters

metalhead17

Two of the special guests alone are better than the bands on the whole tour.

Josh D.
06-08-2007, 08:15 PM
And this isn't possibly the worst tour ever.

Nostalgia
06-08-2007, 09:27 PM
Yeah it is.

Shattered_Future
06-08-2007, 11:51 PM
Nah, Ozzfest is definately worse.

When you have a free show that's almost not even worth GOING to, yeah. It's pretty bad.

Josh D.
06-09-2007, 12:11 AM
This Ozzfest is pretty damn bad. Plus, Warped Tour is always garbage beyond belief. They usually have one decent alt. rock band and I KsE was on it or is going to be or something. That's it.

Wait, what am I thinking: Family Values is absolutely dreadful.

Josh D.
06-09-2007, 12:15 AM
I don't care either way, I just want to go to Wacken or Download one year.

06-09-2007, 12:21 AM
Josh D., were you mudvaynian?

Blashyrkh
06-09-2007, 12:42 AM
Yeah Ozzfest picked the wrong year to go free. I wouldn't go to that in a million years.
