Band is mad good.
But more specifically, can anyone tell me how Sound The Alarm was?

Sound The Alarm was buttcrack, Chris sounds like a chipmunk.
Old stuff still rules most other pop-punk.

Can't Slow Down is my favorite by them. It sounds like they listened to Lifetime, got really excited and recorded an album.

Oh, easily. I absolutely love this band.
GAVSAVESTHEDAY LOL
But yeah, Saves The Day is one of the defining modern pop-punk bands. Chris' lyrics are so unique, heartfelt, sincere, and honest...cheesy as hell at times but because it's STD, it works.
I'm a fanboy. :(

Through Being Cool is the best, but I also think Stay What You Are is great and my second favorite. Can't Slow Down is really good, so is In Reverie. I havn't even listened to Sound The Alarm.

Can't Slow Down is so incredible, the lyrics are my favorite part of that album.
Through Being Cool is pure fun and it's how I think of Saves the Day.
Stay What You Are is what people associate Saves the Day with because of At Your Funeral and Freakish, etc but it isn't my favorite album although it is the first of theirs that I listened to.
In Reverie and Sound the Alarm are sort of downers for me because they don't have the same feel to them as the other albums do... not that I don't like both albums... I just don't get into them the same was I do the others.

yeah saves the day was heavily influenced by LSD in the first 3 albums...and alot of songs on In Reverie sounded like a bad lounge band. so theres your ****in clue, boss!

The LSD influence doesnt really show. So no.

Let me take this awkward saw
And run it against your thighs
Cut some flesh away
I'll carry this piece of you with me
Because all I can say tonight
is that I hate you
But it would be all right
If we could see each other sometime
If I could somehow make you mine
And if not I'll take my spoons
And dig out your blue eyes
I'll swallow them down to my colon
They're gonna burn like hell tonight
Because you're beautiful
Just not on the inside
Light comes from within
And your beaming eyes don't seem so bright

Their decent, but to me they always seemed to be trying to be The Get-Up Kids, who I like better anyway.

I think the older stuff from Say What You Are was their best album. Now he's just too old and his voice is too nasal sounding for my taste. All their other albums were a step way down.
