Before long, teachers are going to start catching on to that Tool trick.

Mr Bungle - Squeeze Me Macaroni

It's about having sex with food i'm sure theres a lot of psychological insight to discuss on the subject.

Wow! Billy, I am really impressed by your research on the implications of Jungian psychology, lachrymology and cross-dressing on young music fans.

I used Porcupine Tree - Piano Lessons for a Theories of Personality presentation once. I related it to Karen Horney.

How did you relate Horney to Piano Lessons?

"Basic evil" in childhood is the source of anxiety, differences between idealized self and real self, I forget what else. There were a few other connections. I threw that presentation together in like 10 minutes.

Don't Say A Word by Sonata Arctica?

I dunno, I used that for a health project once to describe how people get crazy over cheating people and go kill them.

Hm, sounds pretty interesting Jude. I never really made that connection with the song, but now that you mention all that stuff, it makes sense.

And I was assuming it had to do with uterus envy, silly me. :p

Nope.

and big lulz at uterus envy, penis envy was a ridiculous enough concept without women trying to be all equal by making up their own version.

room a thousand years wide by soundgarden just came to mind -

Listen, hear, he is inside
One who lives while others lie
I close my eyes and walk a thousand years
A thousand years that aren't mine
It seems he's near me as I walk
One who loved what love denied
He lives these years that I walk blind
All these years cannot be mine
Tomorrow begat tomorrow
Begat tomorrow
Begat tomorrow
A thousand doors a thousand lies
Rooms a thousand years wide
He walks in the cold sun and wind
All these years will not begin
Tomorrow begat tomorrow
Begat tomorrow
Begat tomorrow

I'm sure you could spin some kind of psychological interpretation out of that.
