What ukulele to buy?

I want to learn to play the ukulele but I don't know what is a good brand to buy. I want to keep it cheap too because I just want to see if I like it or not.

My friend got one of those Fluke things for $100. It's not bad. Doesn't sound nearly as good as his $1800 one but it's definitely better than the $15 thing you pick up in souvenir stores.

Mahalo are a good brand and their prices are very reasonable, I have one which I got one for £30 a few years ago, and I saw them going for €25 a few months ago. There are more expensive ones than that I know too. They're good they keep their tune pretty well
