I listen to just about anything at any given time, but usually there is a band or two i listen to more then the rest.

Currently Darkthrone, Kreator, and Primus.

I think to some extent, everybody gets on "kicks" where they really dig a certaing band more than anything else. My kicks usually last a weeks or so, then it's on to something else, which is why this thread will definitely be a keeper.


This week it's been Kataklysm and Breaking Benjamin. I've been going to sleep to Vital Remains and Cradle of Filth for the past 2 weeks.

I've been listening to my bands much more evenly in the last 6 to 8 months than I used to before that. Part of that is because I've discovered a lot of bands since then and now I have so many different bands I really like that I don't just put all the focus on one or two.

Well, I was just being mean really.

I used to browse through my CDs finding what I'd listen to, and far too many albums that are perfectly alright got rejected. So I make a special effort to listen to albums I don't listen to enough.
