From their blog:
OUR GUITARIST SEARCH HAS COME TO AN END!!!!!
We would like to welcome Trevor DeGaine to the With Faith Or Flames family. In the few short weeks he's been jamming with us, we've already cranked out and recorded a new song called "Heir To The Viking Throne" which will make it to myspace in a week or so, as well as a rerecording of "The Abomination" we're sure everyone will love. Be sure to check our page every day for updates!
For those of you who don't know, Trevor DeGaine = ICB, a member of the MX R&M family, so basically, as we've all expected, Trev's actually getting somewhere with music. Hoorah.

Lately it's been more about war, metal, vikings and conspiracy theories than hope and christianity but whatev :p
Thanks y'all, and thanks to Matt for putting my real name out on the internet so people can stalk me and/or kill and/or rape me.

So sue me if I don't think baby eating music is well accompanied by uplifting lyrics about how Jesus turned water into wine.

So sue me if I don't think baby eating music is well accompanied by uplifting lyrics about how Jesus turned water into wine.
Contrary to that belief, even when they wrote about Christianity, the lyrics were never preachy and never even mentioned Jesus or christianity in the subtlest manner. The lyrics were meant to be interpreted in any way, and it's easy to see why the older lyrics could be interpreted to be about Christianity.
It also goes without saying that we are the LEAST "Christian" band out there...hell just look at me  but again, the lyrics are open for interpretation. I think the newer music defines us more as a band, musically and lyrically. Songs like "The Abomination", "Heir To the Viking Throne", "A New Betrayer", etc represent us a lot better.
Not trying to defend my band or anything, just clearing something up before people judge.

Yeah, Lost Horizon write about hope and self-empowerment, and they're bloody awesome.
What a pity Trev couldn't be their new guitarist, instead of some redneck band.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
