So i've got a choice. I'm either going to Spain or Austria for university. It is not an easy choice to make so i will let you guys decide. Which place has better music? Please give reason behind your arguement and also throw some band names out there and I will move to the country accordingly when the time comes.

To be honest, I'd make the decision based on the university, not the local music.

I'd go with Australia - a lot of really good local bands. One band I can think of is Remain Opposed. They're a great band. I can up some of their music if you want me to.

HAHAHA Good lord. Dude you just looked so stupid haha! ^^ :p

I would choose the better Uni.

However learning Spanish would be very beneifical as it is a massively spoken language.

In Spain you will get Flamenco etc

While in Austria you will get more Metal and Classical.

Take your pick.

But really in this modern age with the internet does it really matter.

This was all kind of tongue in cheek btw, moving solely based on music would be silly.

When I was really young, I accidentally did a report on Austria, thinking it was about Australia.

Although you can't really call Australia a country. It's more a place where people have BBQs

I've been to Australia twice which is probably more than you can say.

I'd go for spain man, it's a really nice country plus it has some AMAZING education (I have friends and family there). And Spain is not all about Flamenco like most people state it is. Either way, it's all your decision man, think about it really well and research about unis. in Spain and Austria really carefully, and finally don't base your decision in a bunch of internet guys :p

Good luck.

yup.

it depends on where in spain you are going to be. barcelona is a great city... if its barcelona, go for it. my sister was living there for 1 1/2yrs and i visited her there for 2 weeks.

One of my best friends is currently living in Barcelona and studying art, he tells me it's the best place to be...and so it seems. But then again, Beethoven was from Austria so it's a 50/50 situation :p

you thought about austria cause it was built by nazis in poland... how i wrote: all the bigger camps were outside germany and austria. imagine how it would look like if they would have built them near vienna... the population would realize that much faster. but cause it was ouside, it was easier to keep it secret from the public for a longer time.

btw. i was in auschwitz 2 yrs ago...

No, i thought it was in Austria because I have a walloping headache and for some reason associated it with the minor similarity in name. Austria/Auschwitz. Brain fart.
