Sorry to make a thread about this but there wasn't an Agalloch thread. Anyway, the last two minutes of Foliorum Viridium really reminds me of another song but I can't think of the name. I know there's a small chance but is there anybody who knows which song it could be reminding me of?

It reminds me of a Wojnar song, but we may have totally different perceptions.

****, I know. I tried to delete the other thread but I couldn't :(. Anyway, the song it reminds me of is by a less know band...a band like City of Caterpillar but not them...:/

The end of Folorium Viridum is actually the beginning to This Old Cabin. Both songs were originally released on the From Which of this Oak demo. The track was screwed up in the editing and the first 2 minutes of This Old Cabin actually ended up being the last 2 minutes of Folorium Viridum. Folorium Viridum is like this on the Of Stone, Wind and Pillor EP because it was the exact same track as on the original demo and it wasn't re-recorded.

Hmm, when I remember the song (hopefully I will cause it's a great song IMO) I'll tell you what it's called.

Oh, that makes since because on wikipedia it says "Foliorum Viridium" is 2:43 but my version is 5:46. The only thing is is that I've never heard "This Old Cabin". I'm almost positive that the song I'm thinking of is by some semi-unknown emo/screamo band.

OK, maybe I was wrong about that. I was going through my music and I think the song it reminded me of was A Strange Day by the Cure. Not the whole song but just the part of 3:29-4:05. I know it sounds somewhat different from the end of FV but for some reason I think that's what it was reminding me of. Does anyone else think that these two parts of the songs sound slightly similiar?
EDIT: nvm, I don't think that's the song it reminds me of :/
