Guys, there really isn't anything wrong with listening to mainstream music.

And I would listen to my band if I had one, if I liked our music.

I always wondered if a band listens to their own music on the road or on their spare time.

I'm 31.40 mainstream. Bands like Green Day, SOAD and The Offspring keep the rating high. But others like Patent Pending, Nerf Herder and Mortal Treason mellow's it out. But my last.fm is pretty evened out, so my top didn't out weigh my rest.

Oh, and the mainstreamness of each band is based on how many plays an artist has on last.fm (answer to the tbs question), Muse isn't generally too popular on the mainstream, but majority of last.fm users listen to Muse, which raises their manstream-o-meter. Like in reality Muse is no way in hell more mainstream than Green Day.

well for +44 its because theres different variations that they havent merged into one yet. so if you call it Plus 44 it will scrobble as a different band.

No, once last.fm downloads plugins it installs everything itself, or so I thought.

So I downloaded it from the tab 'downloads' then on old audioscrobbler plugins because I don't have XP or Vista, then like did it and everything, but nothing's coming up on the site.

When I get a plugin, I open the program, click on Tools, then Get Plugin. I never got anything off the site.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling it, downloading the installation program again, and installing it again. About every month or so, it will stop recording what is going through WMP and I have to do that.
