So, another thing I have been thinking about:
The concept of digs is cool, and is going to play a larger role in the redesigned profiles. I also like seeing what everyone is listening to under their posts.
The problem is that our tastes are eclectic. Most albums have '0' listeners tagged, even the most popular have only have '13' or so. This is understandable, think of maybe 1,000 consistently active users having one dig every two weeks spread across the site.
But the problem is that it reflects negatively on the sites traffic a bit. I wince whenever I see '0 current listeners' for a new release, etc.
I want to keep the interface there so you can add it as a dig right on the album page. Is there some better way to do this that reflects better on the site?
In related news, I am planning on adding the dig feature here to the forums as well, to appear under posts. Have to make sure I can do this as a vb plugin though
