Dammit why do you people tempt me with your stuff that I want but have no money for? I seriously have been wanting an 18" AAX Studio crash for the longest time but haven't had any money at all. Now I finally started working but have about 50 dollars in the bank, get paid again in a week, but 100 of that is going to my car payment.

So I won't have money for anything for about a month.

Black and white yes?

I was told by someone that the black and white badge ludwig were from the same era as the Blue and Olive badge, but that they were low-end. is that true?

Drum Phil

No.

The black and white badge came from the 80's.

those hoops piss the hell out of me.. like that finish looks really cool, but those bass hoops make it look like such a crap kit. im not singling you out, but i just think black hoops on a none black drumset looks horrible. if that baby had matching bass drum hoops, it would be beast.

Wow, a lot less than i expected.

I just bought a new drumset so i can't purchase anything else for a while. Good luck selling it, i suggest one of the members here buy it.

I think I have tried one out at a music store one time but I can't remember honestly. I've tried a lot of random cymbals out. I like the sound clip on the Sabian website though.

I really want an 18" AAX Dark crash though. I love those things.

Really? I used to like dark crashes, but recently i hate how there is no immediate attack from it. Even 16"s overpower the rest of the drums with overtones, but an 18 would be crazy. Personally, A Customs > AAXs, but that's just me.

I used to be a sabian guy and hated all zildjians, but i've recently switched over. That is besides Vaults, they rule.

I love dark crashes and big washy crashes I can ride on. I used to like really bright crashes, but then I grew out of that and realized there are other sounds out there. I still like bright crashes, but that's not all I want to buy any more. I like to have some contrasting sounds on my kit.

And actually, I used to be obsessed with Zildjian when I first started out. I was determined to get a pair of A Custom Mastersound hihats. Then I actually tried some out at a music store, and I really didn't like them that much. Too crisp I guess. Then I tried some Sabian cymbals and that's all I've bought since, other than my Wuhan china, Paiste cup chime, and Stagg black metal bell (which I still haven't gotten).
