i did a search but it said there was nothing :|
There's a fewcombos on ebay with arm, clamp and splash (8" 10" or 12") for quite cheap and i was needing one and since they seem resonably priced and are advertised as "hand made" i was wondering if you guys had any oppinions?
Also i'm looking at a Dw 5K double bass pedal with a free 12" to 22" (any size) Wuhan china (im also needing a china anyway...) so was just wondering about your oppinions of those too....
The whole "hand crafted" thing intregues me!

I have a 12" splash. Wuhan cymbals vary in sound, and mine is a bit trashy, but I like it. I say go for it, but buy the hardware at your local shop. Thats what I did. Oh yeah if your looking at buying a pedal from where I think you are, don't. You can get them cheaper.
Wuhan chinas = sex
Wuhan crashes = some are good, a lot are not
wuhan splashes = trashy :D

I can get a recording tomorrow, will only be with a digital camera though..
and regarding getting it cheaper, just look around and wait for something to come up.

if you like trashy cymbals, you cant go wrong with wuhan splashes.
would a recording of let's say an A custom crash and a wuhan splash side by side be a good way to show him the trashiness? because the cleanliness and brightness of the A custom would definately bring out it's trash, but would the fact that it is a crash make it useless?
i dont know. ill try and get a sample of my 12" wuhan splash up.

Wuhan are famous for their china's.
Most wuhan china's I've heared are all great.
But the thing is, you never really know what to expect... I've heared 24" wuhans higher pitched then 12" wuhans... (the 12" wasn't as loud off course :) )
So you can't be sure what to get, but in general, those china's really do sound like how a china is supposed to sound, you know?
Very thrashy, and the bigger you buy them, the harder your ears will bleed lol
I'm not so much a fan of their other lines though.

The durability is less than good, but thats what you get for so cheap. the sound quality is way better than the price. not ridiculously loud however.
my favorite china is still my 18in zildjian oriental. that baby is badass

Indeed it could thankfully it just missed. I was more bothered about the fact I broke the china than the fact I nearly lost and eye lol.

I like the sound of that crash in the recording...especially if its "free" with these pedals...
I would love to hear the rest of your recordings (other peoples) because I want to see how much the similar models vary cymbal to cymbal...

I have a 12" splash, its fairly trashy and I don't use it all too often (only on snare accents). I like it, I got it two years ago and its still great!

it would be hard to sample our chinas, diff recording methods etc, i wouldnt base a decsion on our recordings or any site, like said before, each one varies in sound, it is very important to sample them in store if possible
wuhan chinas rock, of course there are better, but for the price (I got my 18 for $29 bucks), you cant complain too much :)

TBH sound clips aint important for many reasons with wuhan:
1.You will probly love it anyway
2.They will NOT break the bank
3.They work with everything pretty much.

I love em. They are trashy and they have a quick sound. I like the bigger sizes better though.

I've always said that Wuhans make nice complimentary cymbals, to add new sounds to your existing cymbal setup. I'd never go strictly Wuhan unless I was on a serious budget.
I still want to get a 'backup' setup, only consisting Wuhan cymbals.
But for now I'll stick to my Masterworks :D
