I wouldnt mine trying those! When i'm tapping away i always use my foot like that and its comfy.

Dont know what it would be like on a pedal

That's a horrible idea. Drumming is fine with "normal" pedals, why invent a completely, drastically new type?

you could always just sit ontop of your bassdrum and play a normal pedal backwards.

my brother (a non-drummer) mentioned how they should make something like this, but i told him you have more control using your toes and also you can play heel up.

its ridiculous. theres nothing wrong with pedals now. they are so simple to use. push foots down bass drums makes sounds

Before I had a drumset and I always used to air-drum, I thought that that's how the bass drum pedal actually was and so I air-drummed like that.

I found it more comfortable to air drum like that at the start, now I just find it more comfortable normal.

i have always wondered if that concept would work


it is so much easier to tap your heel than the more conventional method of playing, but i cant see myself getting one
