Anyone here listen to Brendan Wires?
He is an awesome solo bassist who does tapping, and all his music is single-take playing, no looping or dubbing. It leads to some awesome tapping. Great melodies.

How come he never gets any MX loving?

His playing is very good, but I don't like his tone and I think he does too many covers


That's why I'm not that big of a fan of his music.. although I definitely appreciate what he is doing.

Hmm. The only album of his I have is Little Girl Smile. It is all originals, and I think the tone is pretty good on that album. Some of his other CDs have pretty bad tone though, I agree.
