Mine came down to Killian and Pickle. I decided I liked how Killian's was more customized/personalized (??) and voted for it. I really love the paint on Pickle's though.

The Shuker has a great top, but I prefer basses that the owner has made to look great, not basses that are bought great.

I agree with Joe, the G&L is definitely a Fender style... though the Peavey shouldn't be there.

The Peavey is iffy, but I'm definately going to have to disagree with you about the G&L.

I don't know where else the Peavey would be. What isn't Fender-like besides the pup configuration and controls? The body shape is pretty much the same, the headstock is close, pickguard is close. I think it fits best in this category.

Well, the pre-amp has gone kaputt for the time being. I'm gonna get it shopped soon, cause it's a beautiful bass and it can't just sit in the case all day. It was like a tonal field, so wide. You got the classic P-bass tone and you could also get that jazz bass growl. It's a beautiful sounding bass!

Lots of classy basses in this group.

Just for reference people: gold is gaudy; vintage is hot; black is the new black; inlays are hot, but only block, and only on jazz basses; white only works when it's Olympic white, preferably vintage; 5 strings are better than 6, but nothing will ever be better than 4; groove outdoes flash any day; classy is and always will be in style; the fingers v. picks debate is moot... everyone knows fingers have more soul; keep your bass close to your heart, not your nuts.

are these the same pictures as on your 24 hour cam site? beacuse I saw those like, a week ago.

Awesome to hear about the studio recordings - that's exciting!

And my 24 hour web cam bas been commandeered by Homeland Security. Apparently my sexiness is a threat to the homeland, and only serves to embolden the terrorists through the rage that they will never be as amazing as I am.

No thesis - I'm doing the comprehensive exams, and I'll be taking them the first week in August. I've been super busy this semester. I'm a TA and the prof. has me doing way too much work... it's pretty lame.
