What's funny is, I copied this word from word from a thread I had made a while ago, and that was the thread in which I had copied one of Tryxx's threads word for words...so I kind of plagiarized myself :lame:

I also respect Wintermute a lot.

So it is about time I started cleaning up the most kickable award. Katana: WTF? I play bass?

Best Fingerstyle: Ben is quite good, but I have always dug the stuff that Phil posts. Roee_co was always known as a slapper, but man could that guy groove finger style.
Best Slapper: Well coffee is a great slapper, but he doesn't really post that much anymore. So I am going to say hobbes (simple is better sometimes) and Roee_co.
Best Double Thumber: Sheep or roenkin (spelling?)
Best Tapper: havic is a great tapper, but he doesn't do it much anymore. My vote is going to go to that guy with the avatar of the neck of the bass with the fingers on it, hes got some skillz.
Best Chops Overall: Havic, Josh or Phil
Best Composer: Ben, he has some interesting stuff.
Most Over-rated Player: Sade, can I still say that?

I need to get back into composing on bass again, to be honest I've not played bass or practised properly for over 6 months... I feel like a traitor, been playing my acoustic guitar way more. :(

But recently I have been getting back into bass, big reason I hadn't played much was loads of RSI attacks and not being able to play much without pain, now I am free of that! :)
