I recently found out that the Bad Brains will be playing in Toronto this summer (according to their website). The other bands that are playing with them seem to have reggae influences and I wanted to know does anyone think they'll play their hardcore stuff or stick to songs like I & I Survive? I get the feeling that they will play their reggae material which I like as well but I wouldn't mind hearing Pay to Cum or How Low Can a Punk Get.
Has anyone seem them in the past couple of years? and if so could you tell me the kind of set list they played?

But that's kind of natural, right?

This guy I know saw Bad Brains a while ago, and after they played a shi't set, he met someone in the band (forget who) at the bar, and said, "You guys played the worst ****ing set ever. **** HR!", to which the band member replied, "hay, atleast you don't have to share the stage with that ****ing idiot."
The new Bad Brains album? I'm expecting the worst, to say the least.
Yeah, let's just say that HR and some of the other members aren't exactly the best of friends.

It'll probably be mostly new stuff, mixed with the older hardcore stuff, cause apparently the new album is hardcore.

Well since he's from New York, and you can assume his friend is, which means it was probably at CBGB's last year.

BWAJAJAJAJAJA! It's actually not a "rumor" -- i'm merely relaying exactly what my friend told me. Oh, and my friend is not like a, "let's sleep over at my house and drink beer when my parents go to sleep" sort of friend. This guy is a record collector from my area that used to be GG Allin's tour manager. I speak with him whenever i'm in his shop, or whenever I see him at shows and such.
I believe you and stuff, but nothing you said here has anything to do with Bad Brains.

Yes it does. He's explaining how this guy isn't a friend that he's tight with, he's a friend who is in the "music business" and would know these types of things.
