So tell me what you guys have been listening to lately.
For me, lots of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Nas, Shotmaker, Suicide File, Swollen Members, The Books, Immortal Technique, and combatwoundedveteran. Random mix I know but whatevz.
I haven't been posting here as much and I want to get back in the loop and see what you guys have been listening to. Maybe it'll get me back into emo. I'm rather bored with it.

Reiner, I want to start using your name as a tag around Boston.
I think it would be sick if I cut out a sweet looking stencil for it. Is that cool?
I just think "REINER" is a real cool looking and sounding name.

Good, but not as good as Cryonics.
Sparta- Wiretap Scars and Porcelain
Porcelain became one of my top 5 albums after like 4 listens. Sparta is just incredible. As for Wiretap, it's very good but not as good as Porcelain. "Collapse" is my favorite Sparta song though, so beautiful.
In/humanity- A Violent Resignation: The Great Teenage Suicide Rebellion
So ****ing heavy.

No! You gotta hook me up. Wiretap is a lot more varied stylistically, like "Cataract" could pass for a Snow Patrol song, while "Mye" could definitely pass for a At The Drive In or Thursday song, and "Rx Coup" has that funky little bass line. But I think Jim's voice is weaker and the variation sometimes kills the flow of the album. Porcelain as an album has a distinct sound to it and plus it variates within that sound. For example, "The Guns Of Memorial Park" has that hard hitting post-hardcore sound and then "Hiss The Villian" has the upbeat, urgent almost punk sound. I think the band works better together instrumentally and Jim's voice is stronger and more mature. "While Oceana Sleeps" is just breathtaking.
