Just listening now as I'm typing
Oedipus Rex - The opening really grabs me in, but but the time it ends, I was a little bored with it - I think it goes for twice as long as it needs. When the whole song kicks in with vocals, I can kind of see what you are going for, but it sounds like you have gone for too much too soon too quickly. Its like there is some drums happening in there early during the intro, but then they are almost non existant, then they come back in a bit during the solo.
Its very choppy, but I think you have the basis for something good, just needs to have some decent arrangments in there to structure it into something solid. Then a decent recording wont help.
Bloodshed - Nice intro - the background mood under the lead melody works really well. Great build up into the song with the evil whispering voice.
Good main riff that starts the body of the song..... very very cool riff. Not a big fan of when the vocals come in, but I'm not a big fan of that style of vocals. I think a more sung (or screamed in key) vocals would suit this song much better, but overall, I think this song has much more potential as its really well put together as a piece.
