There's an alien selling a pearl sensitone 14"x6.5" for $150 used (don't know yet how bashed, but it shloudn't have more than a year). How good is this snare? :P
;;: I currently have a Ludwig birch snare 14x6.5, would it be a big difference?

Huge Difference. The sensitone shell is remarkably linear in extrusion. It will seem much less flat than your birch snare, and have a very high cut. Snag it for 150 if you can....if it's in good shape and your comfortable with something as large as 6.5 in depth.

yes, there's gonna be a pretty noticeable difference between a metal shell and a wood shell. I suggest checkin' it out!
