What other companies besides DW offer different shell sizes in any package that you want and are not Keller Shells. Finishes are not important to me as I can just redo the finish to my liking.

So basically I am looking for

-A Company that sells drums
-Custom shell sizes not using Keller Shells
-Snare not needed

If you're in the market for custom stuff, then price shouldn't be an issue.

Why go for something that has exactly what you want, but then make changes so you can afford it?

Champagne taste on a beer budget.

Either understand what you want will cost money, or find different wants.

Keller is an american wood company that mass produces maple and birch shells in various sizes/thickness.

There is some that argue because of the sheer quantity they produce, the value decreases. This can also be pointed to as the shells themselves are very cheap compared to "high end" drumkits from major companies.

Non the less. They have a sound, and it's not a bad one. Each drum company has it's own unique sound as well.

Sound is the basis for an instrument, and should be the basis in buying one.

Keller are a company that make shells. Most "custom" drum companies use these shells but put on graphics/hardware. Some people don't like this because the shells have been mass produced, they prefer it when the company they buy their custom drum from makes the shell themselves. Better quality control.

edit: dammit, jos beat me to it
