New snares! Puresound Customs on both snares.

Wait 'til I'm done uploading them all, please. I'll put specs in the final post.

Thanks guys! I would like shorter toms as well, but hey this is what I've got. I'm going to be selling the 13" tom on eBay soon..I've never really liked it, no matter how I tune it. I'm still undecided on what size will be replacing it, either an 8x7" or 10x8"

Also I love having all the effect cymbals, as much as I'd love to have a 2nd crash, I can do so much with the effects.

Looks really great! Clean set-up, goes well with the clean corner :thumb:

I'd go for the 10" tom if it were me. It might also be a good idea to keep the 13" tom, even if you don't use it in the present.

I would keep it, but I'm going to use the money I get from selling it towards the new tom.

Sweet gear dude. How long you been playing?

Thanks guys!

I've been playing for about 5 years now, but I've really only been serious about it for a year or two, and it shows. I'm definitely not as good as I could be for playing so long.

Classy setup! I like that white sparkle. Do you perchance play open handed?

Aye, I do. It would be a pain to play those hats cross-handed, haha.

Haha...exactly. The only wy someone could play those hats comfortably would be if they played open.

Yep. Open handed is so much more comfortable anyways, and it's pretty much second nature by now.

I've never played new beats, so I wouldn't know about that. But Sonors are definitely orgasmic!

MP, what kind of drums do you prefer?

Nah, just the New Beats are Orgasmatron.

But Orgasmatron can always use a better fusion reactor. Hence the addition of Sonors.

Im more of a DW kind of person. Ive played a bunch of different kinds of drums in my life, and DW were the only kind that I went "wow" and had my jaw on the floor.

DW's do sound amazing, but they're also pro level and very expensive. For $600US, I don't think I could have gotten a better kit for the price!

Thats true, but I used to work in a music store with my dad, so I made a decent amount of money so I could afford it easily.

Ouch, that is a long drive..would it be a full-time job for you, or just part-time?

haha yeah man. Great snares, but ive heard some sound like the sound that a dog's ears make when he flaps them.

haha yeah its gonna be a bitch. Im gonna be doing it for part time for now, after I graduate high school and when im almost done with my first year in college. Im not sure when ill be doing it full time yet. I guess ill have to wait until I can balance the school and the work.

Ugh that couldn't be more true..I saw this beautiful 10" snare at my local GC the other day, but it sounded absolutely terrible because of the heads/tuning. The heads weren't even labeled but they seemed very thick.
