Just amazing, i'm in awe. Has anyone else seen or heard of her? I find her really refreshing and just plainly great!

She went to my school and my arranging teacher "discovered" her, and with the help of Ahmad Jamal got her started :)

Man, thats awesome! So much skill comes out of Berklee, it's just amazing.
Her drummer is pretty skilled, like, check his jazz chops in this one; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPd1cUwVtgQ

Drum solo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbuSvr2PKVE

Yeah, she has good drummers. Faculty member Dave Dicenso (appeared on the most recent MD fest I believe) played on her album.... great guy and player.

Man, she is really impressive, the band is pretty good too. First Asian Women I've seen tear up the piano in jazz music.

She's a really good pianist but god that type of jazz is awful.

Be bop and post bop jazz are pretty hard to get into, but I find her songs to actually be pretty enjoyable. I don't know what it is, but it seems like they have this modern sensibility about them, so they're easy to digest.

I saw her live a few weeks ago. I don't like the music, but she is talented. Her bassist rocks.
