"Carnivale", "La Nouvelle Fille", and "Master of Disguise" are all done with vocals. "Woman" is just a skeleton with no vocals and electronically programmed.
Enjoy!

What is that supposed to mean - they're all made on a keyboard and Radiohead influences my music.
I didn't say it was Radiohead Piano Music. I said it was Radiohead-influenced.
Either way take it on its merit.

I really like the main piano-line of "Carnivale" (bum-bumbum-bumbum). I have the same old complaints about your voice... sometimes it seems a little bit off, but it's not that bad. Overall, it's a pretty decent composition, I suppose, but I'm not sure what to say.
I like the piano in "La Nouvelle Fille" as well. The effect on your voice could probably benefit from being a little bit more subtle. I like the words, I think.
"Master of Disguise"... once again, good song composition and occasionally distracting vocals. You have a really interesting sound. This reminds me of something that would have been playing on the radio in the '40's... I'm not sure why.
I like the beginning of this last one an awful lot. Cool percussion. Cool everything. There's a riff that is a lot like a radiohead riff... but I don't think it is so close as to be a copy. Anyway, this is my favorite song of yours, probably in part because of the lack of vocals, unfortunately. However, I think this song could stand to be a little bit shorter, personally.
Edit: check out my new songs, if you get around to it.

don't really see the Radiohead inspiration. this reminds me more of Starsailor than anything else (on the more piano based and calm bits). but regardless of who you're inspired by - it's good music.
the atmospheric piano really does it for me. the Jack White meets James Walsh vocals are nice as well. I'm also suprised by how variated these four tunes are. four completely different tunes, without a doubt.

Hey, I only had time to listen to Carnivale all the way through, so here's what I thought...
Carnivale - The piano line to me seems like something you'd hear at a circus or carnival, which I'm not sure if you wanted, but it was pretty cool, but the guitar part for me didn't work. As much as other have critisized the vocals, I dig them. Reminds me of Oasis... The song to me feels like it needs a bit more. It could benefit from being either bigger (more isntruments, more filled out) or smaller (stripped down more.)

Thanks TLH, I was gonna go back and rerecord that with my full band so that it sounds better - and also to include some more guitar parts (soloes and such).
Also, I have a new song up called Live, it's actually a remake of an old electronica song of mine which I have now flanged up a bit and added strings to.

Live: I hated how the vocals were so high in the mix. the drums are so stereotypical, it's incredible. I liked the synth/strings.
but overall, I'll give it 1.5/5
sorry. the previous ones were better.

Alright, I'll pull down the reverb and the volume on my voice, but I don't know what to do about the drums, I tried to mix em up as much as I could from the original piece (was much more bland and at one speed throughout). Other than that, the flanged strings were my favourite part too.

i'm listening right now, but I think your voice really needs to be toned down in master of disguise, in volume and just in harshness. very cool song though, that one actually kind of reminded me of the decemberists. i'll post about some of the other ones in a minute.
okay, i just listened to Live, and I didn't really like it much. it seemed pretty dull to me, but I'm not really sure exactly what you were going for. it kind of seemed to me more like you were singing a poem, and then added a melody and a drum-beat as an afterthought, than a real song. towards the end, when there is more melody and less periods with just the drums and you singing over them, i think it gets a lot better.
carnivale is really cool, i don't have anything bad to say about it really. your voice goes really well with that song. also, i'd like to say that you have some really nice lyrics.
edit: I forgot to talk about La Nouvelle Fille, because I listened to it before posting. The piano part is cool, that's by far my favorite of your songs. the harmonica synth, or whatever it is, kind of clashes with the melody sometimes, but i guess that's pretty much inevitable with a synth a lot of times.
