i think that it is pretty dumb for this site to tell me how many albums i can give five star ratings to. my opinion is my opinion, you can't tell me my opinion has limits. what is this ****?

It's not like it's a difficult system to get around. Just rate a fair amount of albums that you don't think are 5's until you once again have less than 10% of your albums rated 5's and then you'll be able to rate more albums 5's again.

It doesn't work, so it's not like it really matters.

That said, the "warning" was put in place to try and deter users from rating every album they like a five, which for a while actually did happen. It isn't like mx is telling you to change your opinion, he is just asking you to rethink it for the sake of overall rating accuracy.

It doesn't work. Just because you get that message doesn't mean your rating doesn't go through. Besides, ever since mx implemented the objectivity percentage that message became null and void anyway. Don't pet the sweaty things.

so rating them a 5 makes perfect sense

It was actually put in place as a vain attempt to curb the power of the 'rating it 1 or 5' campaign. Silly.
