post- is stupid.
but this on the other hand, is brilliant.
I'll Remember to Forget:
the piano reminds me of "Jane in the Rye" by The Bridge. the guitars are very [i]() (Sigúr Rós album). the drums play tight, edgy and keeps everything in check nicely. mixed together - this is fantastic. the bridge is atmospheric, like something by Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson or A Bunny's Caravan. and when the song "takes off", it goes from "fantastic" to "astonishingly spectacular".
the drumming is stunning towards the end. and so's the lead guitar. I also love the end, where everything mutes, save for the rhythm guitar (it is a guitar, right?) who goes on for just a few more seconds.

Somewhere,Somehow,at Sometime We Found Us:
this track sounds more like a filler. it will probably work brilliant as an interlude on an album, or a teaser, or summat - but as a independent track - it doesn't do it for me, sorry.

the Any Given Sunday sample:
this is not a finished song, I hear you say. but I'll take it for what it is at the moment.
it's very atmospheric and chilled out. the Pacino sample fits in nicely. the only objection I've got is towards the sudden ending. but I'm sure this'll be even better after you've worked some more on it.

A Promise for Tonight:
now this I like. the punchy drums makes nice company for the laid back acoustic guitar, and the awesome electric guitar and... keyboards? or is it just another electric guitar, with a twist of lime? anyway - whatever the hell it is, it works. the vocals are really good.

Hey man, thanks so much i really appreciate it, iv (re) added another song (white lines) to my page now so if you get time give it a listen. Thanks alot for the track by track. Ye that short song is ment as an interlude style thing and i may record it properly at some point. To answer your question about whether its guitar, ye it is, the song a promise for tonight features no keyboards at all, and i'll remember to forget only has keyboards for the strings in middle section(and the piano chords that run throughout) the rest is all guitar. Anyway thanks so much for giving it a listen.

White Lines:
magic.
the chord progression is stunning. the harmonies are stunning. the drumming fits stunniningly good. everything is just... stunning. fantastic.
I don't need if you really "NEED VOCALS" :p
the song is so strong, that it's awesome the way it is. but with that being said, I think it'd be awesome to hear it with vocals.

thanks alot again, ye i duno, i dont think the end needs vocals but i reckon that the verses and chorus bits might benifit from sum singing right? haha seriously if anyone here fancies doing some vocals for me that would be great.

haha man that was pretty unusual but pretty cool, nice one, im not really a big fan of that kinda minimalistic electronic music so its hard for me to critique but i like some of the atmospherics. What program do u use for the beats?

I use many different freeware programs - but mainly Audacity for the beats (and Hydrogen if you're counting the 390BPM drumming during the minimalistic click clock beat).

Wow this stuff is different from Empire (better). I actually LOVE I'll Remember To Forget, its exactly the kind of music that I'd like to make. I didn't really like Sigur Ros the first time I heard them, but if they're anything like this, then dayum.
Could you send me I'll Remember To Forget, or make it downloadable or something?
I need to start recording some more shite. This stuff really inspires, congrats.
Great tunes. You've heard mine, I think. Take another listen, there's a new track and some new mixes of old ones.
